Working together with you, our furniture specialists provide innovative, cost-effective, reliable solutions tailored to your needs. Operating from our UK manufacturing and distribution centre in Deeside, we use state-of-the-art automated CNC machinery to deliver our promise: on time, in full and within budget.

Our Story.

2005 – Manufacturing facility established in Cheshire, UK primarily focussing on the regional and national market.

2017 – Substantial investment made with the purchase of new CNC machines.

2020 – Acquisition of a well-known furniture manufacturing company. Merging this company in to our existing brand range expanded our portfolio offering to include desking and storage. Our range of products was then rebranded as Onyx Furniture.

2021 – Relocated to our new, bigger facility in Deeside Industrial Park, which allowed for growth and extra space for the further investments into new state-of-the-art automated machinery.

FSC® Certification The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) exists “to promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests.”

This is achieved through a system of standards and certification, in particular ‘chain of custody’ certification. The ‘chain of custody’ refers to the path taken by FSC®-certified raw materials and forest products, from the forest through the supply chain to the end consumer.

The objective of this chain of custody is to ensure that FSC®-certified material can be verified all the way back to the forest of origin, enabling consumers to be confident of the forest stewardship.

Unistow holds FSC® Certification and over 99% of the melamine faced chipboard (MFC) used in our products is FSC®-certified material.
